ARTIST BIO
Jean Dex has been a full time art teacher and professional artist for nearly 50 years. Jean has inspired thousands of children and adults throughout East Yorkshire with her unique approach to art teaching. As a professional artist Jean has been inspired to produce personal works in varied styles, subjects and mediums exploring different facets and interests in her life. Work by Jean Dex has been displayed in galleries across East Yorkshire.

FREE ONLINE ART LESSONS
During the first Covid 19 Lock down, Jean decided to start to make some YouTube videos to inspire her grandchildren and neighbours to try their hand at doing some art work at home. The idea was to use only very simple materials that everyone would have access to. They proved to be a huge success and several of them have now been watched by thousands of people from across the globe.
